Trail run event for the families
Espoo Trail Run is the series of trail running events that are arranged on every season. The route is always the same, so the competition series is perfect also for following-up your fitness level.
The event is open for runners at all fitness levels and ages. The best of competition series will be rewarded.
Espoo Trail Run is arranged by Espoon Akilles orienteers. The event is organized by volunteers and the profit will be used directly for development of junior training.

Pre-registration shall be done latest by five day prior to the event date. There is an attendee limit of 300 runners.
7 km route
The route will take you through the most beautiful trails in Espoo Central Park. The route choices are 3 km, 7 km and 14 km. The event has a beautiful but technically and physically challenging route. It challenges even the most experienced trail runners with sharp ascents and technicality, and amount of dirt road part will be minimized. Route has been clearly marked. The same route will be taken 1-2 times. The competition center is the Puolarmaari Outdoor Center, Espoo.
Timing system is EMIT (Usage instructions). You may take your own EMIT punch card, or rent such from the organizer.

Competition fees:
Boys and girls below 18 years: 10 eur
Adulst (18 years and over): 25 eur
Family (2 adults and 2 children below 18 years): 40 eur
Post-registration after the registration time is possible with double entry fees, with the condition that the number of pre-registered attendees do not exceed 300 participants.
Punch cards used for timing system (EMIT) rental cost is 5 euros. This will be paid at the same time with registration.

Great trail run experience in the middle of Espoo
The participation on the event is free of charge to the members of Espoon Akilles Orienteers.
Prizes will be given in the competition categories Women 14 km, Women 7 km, Men 14 km, Men 7 km, Girls 3 km and Boys 3 km according to the total points for the cup in the last competition of Espoo Trail Run (6.12.). With Fitness categories, all the prizes will be drawn among all the participants. Additionally on each competition the three best in all competition categories will be awarded with Espoo Trail Run take-away.
The Competition Center is located at the cabin of Espoon Akilles in Puolarmaari Espoo. Follow the guidance to the parking from Puolarintie street.
It is possible to use parking lot in Puolarmaari, and possible streetside parking. Please follow the instructions of the parking staff. Due to limited parking space, we recommend arriving by bike, carpool, public transportation (e.g. the bus lines 125, 134, 136, 158, 531, 531K take you near)
Depending on the number of competitors, the start will be either mass-start for all at the same time, or mass-starts for each categories. Starts will be at weekend events from 10:00 or from 11:00. On the evening events, the starts will be from 18:00. Please be there in time.
